Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!! Reward Game: From Bicycles to Beatdowns
Last month, we learned that one of the special prizes available to Platinum Club Nintendo members this year would be a special downloadable WiiWare game based on the recently-released Punch-Out!! game for the Wii.
Titled “Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!!,” it is revealed in the newest issue of Nintendo Power (vol. 246, October) that it was created as a result of the franchise’s enduring popularity in America, and to celebrate the promotion’s first Club Nintendo year. But the original plan for the prize was actually something quite different.
